Marketing is one of the most important components needed for fashion businesses to thrive. Due to the advancement of technology, trends and culture influences, the way we communicate with our consumers has changed dramatically. As a fashion brand, it can be daunting thinking about marketing and it normally boils down to two things – a lack of understanding and a lack of funds. But effective marketing strategy doesn’t necessarily mean spending a lot on promotion. It’s about understanding your audience, nailing down the best tactics that work for it and being consistent. Combining theory and real-life case studies, this masterclass will provide you with fundamental tactics, including content marketing strategies, social media tips, guerilla marketing, dos and don’ts, and much more. The second part of the workshop will look at how emerging technologies such as mixed reality and artificial intelligence can supercharge the way brands and businesses communicate, create and market their products.
Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and discuss the examples. We will finish off with some activity time where attendees can apply the learnings to their brand straight away.
